We really want to encourage you to recycle! Rather than getting on our soap box, we've provided some helpful information about how to recycle a variety of materials in the RSC.
Material | How to recycle |

| Batteries | Can be taken to Kurt's office (B1) for recyling. |
| Cardboard | Can be taken to the cardboard skip (or bin?) in the loading area. |
| CDs/DVDs | Can be taken to Craig E11 or left in the container in the tea-room. |
| Comingled recycling | Collection of glass, aluminium cans, milk cartons, Tetra Paks, and plastic bottles is available in both tea-rooms. |
| Computer Equipment | All computer systems and components can be taken to E11 for evaluation for reuse or recycling. |
| Metal | There are two bins on the loading dock. - one for ferrous and one for non-ferrous metal. |
| Mobile phones | Collection box in Kevin Cooper's office (B29) |
| Paper | Can be put in the blue paper recycling bins around the School and Department of Chemistry. |
| Styrene Foam | Can be left neatly stacked on the loading bay for recycling. |
| Used toner and ink cartridges | Can be taken to the store in RSC. |
