Carolyn Jacob (Room E11) is also willing to help prepare a format for structures and graphics and answer your questions as to how to paste diagrams into your thesis etc. Max Keniry and Tin Culnane are working on a standardized way of incorporating NMR spectra and results into theses. We are trying to build up a pool of expertise to solve problems typically encountered when writing up theses so that we can help future students to minimize time spent on presentation.

Do you know about the existence of the Graduate teaching Program?. The purpose of the Graduate teaching Program is to support PhD students in their teaching and this is done via a 13 week program of seminars and practical activities. The certificate presented to participants upon completion distinguishes the fresh PhD graduate from their competitors, though most students find benefit even before completing the GTP...
