The Research School of Chemistry benefits from a flexible structure with 21 research groups led by tenured academic staff. With more than 30 postdoctoral fellows and research fellows from all over the world there is a constant influx of new ideas and talents.

The Director is appointed for three years from among the professors in the School and has the final discretion for the distribution of funds, after receiving advice from the Director's Advisory Group and various advisory committees.
